What personal impact do you make when you walk into a room?

What impression do you think you make with your body language, facial expressions, the tone of your voice? Even your energy level and what you chose to wear this morning have an influence on how people perceive you especially if they have never met you before. How do you want people to see you, are you portraying the real, best most authentic you?

What is this intangible quality personal impact anyway?

When we think of someone making a personal impact we think about them leaving behind a strong impression, getting attention, challenging or provoking, inspiring or motivating.

Exceptional personal impact in business requires professionals to have strong emotional intelligence and adapt themselves to do and say the right thing at the right time, in multiple environments, with multiple stakeholders. Authentically. This is easy to say but not always easy to do. But you still need to understand why your actions impact others and have the skills in place to be able to control how you can influence that.
